Michael “Sully” Sullivan is the Chief of Staff for Steve Cohen, Founder and CEO of Point72 Asset Management and owner of the New York Mets. He is also Point72’s Head of External Affairs and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Sully also leads the Metropolitan Park project, the forthcoming sports and entertainment district next to Citi Field in Queens.

Sully joined Point72 in 2007 after serving as a senior aide in the United States Senate and House of Representatives focused on telecommunications and technology policy. Before working on Capitol Hill, he was the head of strategic development for a telecommunications-focused trade association.

In 2015, Sully helped establish and continues to serve as Treasurer of the Cohen Veterans Network, which operates a network of 25 clinics to treat veterans and their family members facing mental health challenges. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.

Sully’s Irish roots run deep on both sides of his family. His father’s family traces its heritage to Kinsale in County Cork and County Tipperary, while his mother’s family hails from County Donegal, a proud connection to Ireland that makes serving as Grand Marshal especially meaningful.
